“In the spirit of community, I wanted to take the opportunity to let everyone know that this group was formed to celebrate whatever part of the canonical Alien films that you love, without being criticized or needing to defend yourself.
There will be no criticizing people’s passion and fervor of films we may or may not like. No bullying people for having an opinion that you might not share.
Talk about what you love, without fear that you’re not cool enough.
I admit to being part of a gang up and shaming people for their opinion. For that, I heartily apologize. That’s not the kind of fandom I want. Alien is about that oasis in the desert. Being a part of the fan community is about experiencing that love together.
